Common Conditions

Find common conditions we have treatments for.

Acne

Acne is caused by an inflammation of the sebaceous glands which, when clogged, increase the proliferation of the bacteria Propionibacterium Acnes, causing skin eruptions. Acne can last for several months or even years and affect both teenagers and adults.

Dark circles and hollows

Dark circles and hollows occur due to thinning of the skin and loss of fat and collagen, which can highlight blood vessels or shadows beneath the eyes.

Dilated pores

Dilated pores are often caused by excessive sebum production, loss of skin elasticity, or aging, which causes the pores to appear larger and more visible.

Dull Complexion

A dull complexion often results from dead skin cell buildup, dehydration, or environmental factors such as pollution and UV exposure.

Fine and/or sparse lashes

Fine or sparse lashes can be a natural feature or caused by aging, nutritional deficiencies, or certain medical conditions.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Fine lines and wrinkles develop as collagen and elastin fibers in the skin decrease with age, leading to less elasticity and firmness.

Hair Loss

Hair loss can occur due to genetic predisposition, hormonal changes, medical conditions, or external factors like stress or poor nutrition.

Hands

Hands often show signs of aging and damage due to constant exposure to the environment and less protection than other parts of the body.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition characterized by facial redness, visible blood vessels, and sometimes acne-like bumps.

Sagging skin (Body)

Sagging skin on the body is often caused by a loss of collagen and elastin, significant weight loss, or the natural aging process.

Sagging skin (Face)

Sagging skin on the face results from aging, gravity, and the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin.

Scars

Scars form as part of the skin's healing process after an injury or inflammation, with their appearance depending on the depth and location of the wound.

Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation occurs when excess melanin is produced, often due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, or skin injury.

Stretch marks

Stretch marks are caused by rapid stretching of the skin, such as during pregnancy or significant weight changes, leading to the breakdown of collagen and elastin fibers.

Thin lips

Thin lips can be a natural feature or result from aging, where collagen loss leads to a decrease in lip volume.

Unwanted Hair

Unwanted hair is often due to genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, or certain medical conditions like PCOS.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins that are caused by weakened valves and poor circulation, often appearing on the legs.

Thinning or Sparse Eyebrows

Thinning or sparse eyebrows may be caused by genetics, aging, over-plucking, or hormonal changes. Eyebrow tattoos can help restore fullness and symmetry.

Uneven or Asymmetrical Eyebrows

Uneven or asymmetrical eyebrows can occur due to genetics, injury, or scarring. Eyebrow tattoos can help create a more balanced appearance.

Hair Loss Due to Hormonal Changes

Hormonal changes, especially during pregnancy, menopause, or thyroid imbalances, can lead to eyebrow thinning. Eyebrow tattoos can provide a more defined shape and fullness.

Alopecia

Alopecia, an autoimmune disease, can cause hair loss, including in the eyebrow region. Eyebrow tattoos can help restore the natural look and appearance of the brows.

Post-Scarring or Burns on Eyebrows

Previous injuries, scarring, or burns can lead to hair loss in the eyebrow area. Eyebrow tattoos can help mask these scars and restore the appearance of natural brows.

Sparse or Light Eyelashes

Some individuals experience sparse or light eyelashes due to aging, genetics, or medication. Eyeliner tattoos can help define the eyes and create a fuller lash appearance.

Discoloration or Fading of Natural Lip Color

Aging, sun exposure, and smoking can cause lips to lose their natural color and definition. Lip tattoos can restore vibrant, full lips with lasting color.

Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation includes conditions like sunspots, age spots, and melasma caused by sun exposure, aging, or genetics. Laser treatments like Picoway are effective in treating these issues.

Acne Scarring

Severe acne often results in scarring that can be treated with laser resurfacing to promote collagen regeneration.

Rosacea and Redness

Rosacea and redness can be treated with the Gentlemax Pro Plus laser, reducing visible blood vessels and calming skin inflammation.

Tattoo Removal

Picoway is an advanced laser that effectively removes tattoos without significant scarring, providing a fresh canvas for the skin.

Skin Laxity or Sagging

Skin laxity and sagging can be addressed with Picoway or Gentlemax Pro Plus lasers that stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin.

Congested Pores and Blackheads

BHA peels and other chemical peels are effective in clearing out clogged pores and reducing blackheads.

Foreign Body Granuloma

A localized inflammatory reaction that occurs when the body attempts to isolate and "wall off" a foreign material it cannot eliminate or degrade. This response involves the immune system forming a cluster of immune cells, primarily macrophages, which fuse to form giant cells around the foreign object.
